The Late Bishop Sanco K. Rembert was a prominent figure and trailblazer at Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary and the Reformed Episcopal Church, Diocese of the Southeast. He was the f irst African American Bishop of the Reformed Episcopal Church. He also served as President, Dean, and Professor at Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary.
